Mary takes a shot!

TC traveled to the Big Rapids Invitation this past Tuesday and shot its best team score, 468.  Having personal best for TC were Kayla Vos, 118; Christine Scharphorn, 123; and Mary Bradley, 89.  Mary finished 5th overall.

The week was not even close to being over for TC.  Thursday brought regional play for the girl golfers.  Again, they traveled to Big Rapids for Division 3 play.  Even though the team score was higher than Tuesday, TC performed well in adverse weather conditions.  TC fired a 498 and finished 9th.  Ronna Kilts had a personal best of 130, but the day belonged to Bradley yet again.

Mary shot a 95 which tied her for 6th.  In girls golf they take the top three individuals not qualifying with a team.  This forced Mary into a playoff for the last invite to the state tournament.  Mary sank a four foot putt to seal her invitation on the first playoff hole. 

Mary will be traveling the The Meadows at Grand Valley State University on Friday.  She will be competing on both Friday and Saturday.
