Shhh....I'm concentrating!

The Tri County Girls Golf Team is “teeing-it-off” already.  The Vikings are already four matches into the links season, and they are representing TC enthusiastically.  With only one full-time returning player from last year, TC is looking to rebuild a team that lost four golfers from last year’s squad.

With the year being four matches deep, TC is still looking for the scores to drop.  In their first league jamboree, TC finished in fourth. This match was the first for Kayla Vos, Christine Scharphorn, and Elena Smith.  The second match was a tournament at Zeeland East where freshmen sensation, Kayla Vos, started to find her swing by firing a 60 on the back nine at Winding Creek.  This match was also the first competition for promising Daytona Niles.  The third match was the second league jamboree where veteran Mary Bradley medaled with a 44.  Bradley is currently tied for 1^st in conference with three matches to go.  Central Montcalm hosted the fourth TC match, where, again, Vos proved she will be a links competitor; she shot a personal best, 57. 

TC will be in action next Monday at the NorthPointe Christian Invite, Wednesday when they host a league jamboree at Whitefish Lake, and at the Fremont Invite on Thursday.  We encourage all to come out and support the TC golfers!
